North Pier
Fresh Water
• Available via a standpipe supplied by the Harbourmaster (tel. 01631 562892)
• Cost - £2.70 per tonne or part thereof
Electricity
• 240 volts and 415 volts (three phase) supplies have recently (June 2015) been installed
• Cost - The amount consumed will be determined by meter but the cost to the consumer has yet to be confirmed. See Harbourmaster for current details
Waste
• There are four bins available for domestic garbage disposal located in the compound on the landward side of the Pier
• There is no charge for disposal unless the quantity disposed of requires an unscheduled emptying of the bins
• International Catering Waste (ICW) cannot be accepted
• Contact the Harbourmaster in advance if any non-domestic garbage or large quantities need to be landed
Waste Oil
• There is a tank for the disposal of waste oil which is located with the garbage bins in the compound on the landward side of the pier
• There is no charge for the disposal of small quantities
Bunkers
• No refuelling facilities are available on the Pier
• There is good vehicle access for road tankers to supply bunkers
South Quay
Ice
• Available via Oban Port Users (tel. 01631563354) with advance notice
Fresh Water
• Available by stand-pipe and hose that must be collected from Oban Port Users tel. 01631 563354.
• Cost – Included in the landing dues for fishing vessels
Waste
• There are bins are available for the disposal of domestic waste only which are located at the rear of the fish market
• Cost – Included in the landing dues for fishing vessels
Waste Oil
• There is a tank for the disposal of waste oil which is located at the rear of the fish market
• Cost – Included in the landing for fishing vessels
Bunkers
• No refuelling facilities are available on the Quay
• There is good vehicle access for road tankers to supply bunkers
Railway Pier
Fresh Water
• Two hoses and standpipes are available
• Key to the storage box must be collected from the CalMac Piermaster
• Details of charges can be obtained from Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd website.
Electricity
• 240volts and 415 volts (three phase) supplies are available
• Vessels to supply their own cable and connections
• Pre-paid cards are required to access the supply and they are available from the CalMac Piermaster
Waste
• Bins are located at the South end of the Ferry Terminal for the disposal of domestic waste only
• Cost – Included in the berthing dues
